This lively song by Marilyn Krowommn explores the imagery and symbolism of candles in Goddess spirituality. We placed it in the Candlemas section of our album Seasons: A Pagan Journey Around the Wheel, but it would be appropriate for any ceremony in which candle magic is an important element. Let us light a candle flame when we feel the darkness falling.
Let us light a candle flame when we hear the spirit calling.
We place it on the altar, we bless the holy night.
The whisper brings us back to the sacred center of the light.

So reach for the stars, glowing candles high above.

As we gaze into the flame then the stillness will surround us.
