About Adrienne Piggot of Spiral Dance

Adrienne Piggot

Adrienne is a singer/ songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia and is lead singer of Pagan folk rock band Spiral Dance.  Drawing on the myths, legends and the calendar customs from Anglo-Celtic culture along with her love and connection to nature, she has penned most of the original songs on Spiral Dance’s eight studio albums. She has toured internationally with her band and most recently shared the stage with Damh the Bard during several tours to the UK.

Adrienne also sings with Saltwater Taffy, a 4-piece Americana Folk group, and Ruby Moon, a 3-piece women’s English Folk Group.  Her current project is Wrenne – songs of the wheel of the year, tied to the village customs of Great Brittan that have immigrated to Australia.

Adrienne is also the Director of the annual festival ‘The English Ale’ held in the Adelaide Hills town of Mylor each May.
