This song honors a young woman at her coming of age. The singers are Alane, Carole, Deb, Donna, Judith, Marilyn, Melanie, Molly, Shannon and Tara, with percussion by Charlie. The song was written by Alane Crowomyn for the “girls’ rite”, a menarche ceremony held at Dragonfest, a Colorado pagan festival.
