Having just arrived home after 2 weeks away playing at both Starwood Festival and then Sirius Rising after having been on the road for nearly 3 weeks in May and June, I discovered that I had this blog due…yesterday…
I have a total of 4 private shows this week and guitar lessons to teach as I get ready for the trip to Darlington Maryland, Camp Ramblewood and The Free Spirit Gathering where I will be joined by Tuatha Dea, The Muses (SJ Tucker, Ginger Doss, and Renee Janski), Kelly Zullo and Ora Chaya…If you are wondering why I left out Lynda Millard’s name from the Muses it is because she’s due for hip replacement surgery.
She very bravely played amazing shows with Ginger Doss at both Starwood and Sirius Rising, but had to do so through a lot of pain…
Almost all of the fests I am so very lucky and grateful to be invited to perform at have become a sort of deeply spiritual family reunion. The joy I get to experience just seeing these beautiful humans and then getting to see and hear them play and sometimes even sharing the stage with is indescribable and…an honor….

Somehow while doing all this traveling and live shows, I’ve also been recording, mixing, remixing and compiling songs for 2 new double CDs due to be released later this year…48 songs in all…
One CD is planned to be called “Please Send the Rain” and is more of my more “straight ahead singer songwriter/Americana music”.

The other will definitely be called “The Stars are Dreaming” and will feature my more
“magical” songs…

Besides my own music I have been working with an amazing artist named Eddy Skye helping to produce a full-length CD with engineer Jay Bentoff. And….I am also doing more and more music bookings for festivals. I am artist liaison (a part of the programming committee) for Starwood, director of entertainment for Free Spirit Gathering, music director for both Autumn Fires at Wisteria and for the Winfield Mini Music Fest in Winfield KS. And…yes…I am still the “benevolent dictator” of the Woodchopper’s Ball benefit for the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless which now in it’s 24 th year!
I have also used my rare down time at fests to write more music, which will be recorded
very soon.

Now, I realize that may seem like a lot…The thing is, that I have just entered my 7th decade spinning around the Sun and I know that if I am ever to get this music out to the World…I’d better do it while I’m still able.
I know that I am incredibly lucky and blessed to have been given the opportunity to not only be given these songs by the Universe, but to be able to travel to where you are and share online this music. And…to share my music with the amazing musicians who are willing to share with me their time and talent.
From every fiber of my being…Thank You….
