The sun moves into Capricorn
The season begins with great energy in Capricorn; with the Sun conjunct Jupiter to warm us. It does not get much better than that for a lovely kickoff to the year. And, to make it more interesting, both are in trine to Uranus to add excitement! Saturn, Pluto, the South Node also all in Capricorn in the 5th house giving the time a certain undercurrent of very big things popping up soon! The Moon is in Scorpio in the 3rd house, keeping things deep and upsetting the mental cart with an opposition to Uranus. All in all, a sunny day perfect for new beginnings and revolutions! Aries:
Wow! Talk about ambitious! Not only do you plan on taking on the world, you will do it with one hand tied behind your back for show! As a friend once commented on her own Arian tendencies; “She with the bloody forehead.” First into the breach. Fortunately, you have some unexpected help coming from your resources you may not have been aware of. I’m sure you will use them wisely!
Taurus:
Mr. or Ms. Excitement here! A little surprising from one usually so quiet and steady. I’m sure your life has taken some unexpected turns in the last little while and will continue to do that for a good while more. And now there is plenty to strive for. More in terms of big goals and bigger outcomes. Relationships are energized as well now. Lots of healthy emotions and release.
Gemini:
Hey you! Ya, both of you! There is something big brewing in your house of money and intrigue. Hmm, what could it be? I know you can be a sharp operator and very possibly pull off something here out of the coming chaos. At least you will gain a huge amount of wisdom in the ways of the world which is pretty good in itself. And it looks like your partners are there to help you.
Cancer:
You do seem to look like a person from the future who has returned to guide your flock. And your flock is getting larger every day! The Moon, your symbol, is getting more and more powerful with Mars joining it in your house of creativity and children; again, the symbolism of a flock. Your power of healing is full blown now and you have much to offer. Thank you!
Leo:
Leo has always been a natural leader. Now, Leos have a sparkling energy to guide them, and the work they do looks more like magick, some true prestidigitation. Indeed, it is just being in the right place at the right time with the awareness of what is going on and the showmanship to pull it off with aplomb. Not to make fun of Leo; this really is quite a feat to do.
Virgo:
Your ruling planet Mercury is in your solar 4th house, trailing the Sun and just out of aspect. The Sun and Jupiter are throwing some lovely energy your way from your houses of home and creativity. Your personal creative juices will be bubbling all year with deep undertones. Neptune may continue to make relationships dreamy and a bit fuzzy. Try to stay realistic.
Libra:
You totally shine at home now! Your home is the place for so much of your energy, both within you and around you. Deep currents are coming up from the past that must be dealt with, if not right now then very soon. You are strong and up to the task. Scorpio:
Have some excitement in mind, or is it that some excitement has you in mind? Perhaps some sort of twist in your relationships or, even more like you, some strange twist no one expects. Whatever, there will be some fascinating communications and travel for what could be a once in a lifetime experience. Your emotions are on your sleeve today. The energy to show your self will push you.
Sagittarius:
The Sun is closing in on your ruler and that’s always a grand time and this is in your 2nd house where you demonstrate what you truly value; grand gestures. Now there is depth of meaning along with it. You sense a stirring in the climate of the times. You are ready for a challenge. Work matters are in for some changes but nothing you can’t handle.
Capricorn:
This is your season. Happy birthday, Goat girl or boy! Looking for a mountain to climb? Some obstacles to overcome? You have them! The coming year will be very significant if you hold true to the commitment to your ideals. Unexpected resources will come to your aid as you push your creativity. “The secret of overcoming writer’s block? Keep writing.” Sounds odd but that’s how it works.
Aquarius:
Ms. or Mr. Future! The energies that are seething under the surface are a secret fuel you can use. Your surface may appear calm and serene, but you know what lurks below. Revolution! Your home is alive now with new ideas and paths to work out. This is pretty much the kind of excitement you have craved for so long. It’s like living in a rocket ship heading for Mars!
Pisces:
My favorite fish! You have been so emotional and strong for a long time. Neptune has been so slowly drifting through your sign for years now.
