At Lammas

Credits

On our album Seasons, we take a journey through the Wiccan Wheel of the Year, and the song At Lammas is our stop on the journey for this harvest celebration. Alane Crowomyn composed this song and made a practice recording of it with crowsister Donna Pauline a few months before Donna passed away. We used that recording as the basis for this track, adding the voices of Shannon, Melanie and Marilyn in the studio mix. Cheryl played guitar. You can purchase this track from our online store. It’s track 13 on the album. Production of  At Lammas  was sponsored by Gaia and Freeman Faust.

Lyrics

In your vines (at Lammas)
Oh Father God (what we’ve sown)
we rejoice (now we harvest)

From your fields (at Lammas)
Oh Mother God (what we’ve sown)
We are fed (now we harvest)

In your arms (at Lammas)
Oh Father God (what we’ve sown)
we are safe (now we harvest)

By your hands (at Lammas)
Oh Mother God (what we’ve sown)
We are healed (now we harvest)
