Time, Space and Love

Hello Everyone. Looking back over the songs I write and have written, I have noticed that I do write a lot about time, love and the space between.

I do believe that time is an illusion, a way for us to navigate and better learn about love.

The space between us is also an illusion. The physical world and our perceptions of the Universe are as a dream….

Love is real. The most powerful force in the Universe (or Universes) and is gift to all of us, even those who seem to others as unworthy.

Love will outlast time and the physical Universe as we think it is.

Love is the true reality.

Captain Timewarp

Captain Timewarp is from the album “Dance with the Fireflies” and the video was put together by Beltana Spellsinger.

I often use character driven stories for my songs, almost always putting some of myself in those characters.

Captain Timewarp is me….my journey through space time and love.

On the sea Captain Timewarp
Floating on, waves of time and time again
Sail on forever now
Sail on

Light and sound vibrations
Dance and sing all sensations that we feel
Sail on forever now
Sail on Captain Timewarp on and on

Sails are full of dream wind
Sailing on seven mysteries
Sail on forever now
Sail on Captain Timewarp on and on

Breathing in the lifeforce
Cosmic waves of love that we can feel
Sail on forever now
Sail on Captain Timewarp on and on
On and on and on and on and on

Do you Know Where

Do you Know Where is a song about a place beyond time and space that at some time in all our lives we would like to hide in.

Do you know where
I can go where I am nowhere at all
Empty spaces, hidden places
Places where the pain can’t go

Can you hide me?
Where no one knows me
Keep me safe behind your walls

Places where there is no there where
I can vanish in the air

Can you hide me
Where no one knows me?
A place where Angels come to fall
All behind me
Where none can find me
Hidden safe behind your walls
Can you hide me
Where none can find me
A place where Angels come to fall
A place where Angels come to fall

Do you know where
I can go where, I am nowhere at all

Breathing Out and In

Breathing Out and In is the first song from my first vocal album, “Sun and the Moon and Stars” and is a song about living beyond time and space. Breathing in life and love like air. Swimming to eternity in an ocean of dreams.

Breathing Out and In
Underneath the trees I lie
Gazing up at leaves and sky
Clouds and Moon and stars the spin
Fireflies dancing on the wind

Breathing out and in
Holding stars and grains of sand
With the fingers of my hand
Every heartbeat that is mine
Floating on the winds of time

Breathing out and in
Breathing with the wind

Stars reflected in the stream
Join the river of my dreams
In the ocean I will swim
In the water and the wind

Breathing out and in
Breathing with the wind

    Dear Brian,
What a joy to discover your music! It is the perfect soundscape for my current phase of this time journey! I am a Witch in her last phase in this time cycle and I am here in Portugal near the ocean and the elements breathing in space and breathing out time. Both your words and your musical compositions remind me of what I have always known. They also cycle me around to the music of my youth, reminding me of some of my favorite pieces by Pearls before Swine and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Thank you for this gift of forwards memory!
